Union, hotel chiefs silent over deal

A BIU spokeswoman remained tight-lipped, saying details of the agreement could not be made public. And BHA secretary John Harvey would only say: "No comment.'' Both sides were applauded for agreeing the deal and avoiding industrial action during a Senate meeting last Wednesday. Past negotiations have been notorious for causing strikes and overtime bans.
