Last night CedarBridge principal Ernest Payette confirmed that the 14-year-old victim, who had to undergo emergency surgery following the stabbing last Wednesday, had earlier been sent to the Centre for Adolescent Development, Education and Training (CADET) at Warwick Camp. The centre deals with youngsters suffering from behavioural problems.

The student, who is in residential care, was released from hospital on Thursday.
