Four visitors were riding livery cycles along Palmetto Road in Devonshire just before midnight on Tuesday when a motorcyclist drew up alongside them.

As the convoy approached the Dock Hill roundabout the visitors were forced to pull over into a bus lay-by by the thief, who had been joined by an accomplice riding at the rear of the group.

A beach bag, which contained a JVC camcorder, a Fuji camera and other personal items, was snatched before the two men rode off in an easterly direction.
