sound education and real work experience. The Boston-based undergraduate institution offers Bachelor's degrees in 16 majors including architecture, computer science, engineering and engineering technology and management, said Keiko Broomhead, the school's assistant director of admissions and international enrolment. According to Ms Broomhead, a required co-operative work programme open to Wentworth's senior students, strengthens its already excellent theoretical curriculum. "It's one of our many strong features at Wentworth ,'' she said. "Our third and fourth year students must spend alternate semesters working in their field; so they graduate with two required semesters in the work force behind them. It's done before they graduate and gives them professional experience and an advantage over other graduates when they begin to look for a job; and about 60 percent of them are asked to return as full-time employees. "Many Bermudian students have attended the Wentworth Institute of Technology , said Ms Broomhead. "We have had a lot of students from Bermuda and they've always remarked on it. The programme is also a required part of their studies so even if they are not US citizens, they can work and get paid for it.'' COLLEGE--UNIVERSITY FAIR MINI SUPPLEMENT SUP
