Webb rapped over remarks
Ernest DeCouto, after remarks she made about portraits hanging in the chamber.
Ms Webb had commented during Premier Pamela Gordon's speech at the close of business early on Saturday morning, that pictures of past speakers would be coming down if the PLP won power.
But Mr. DeCouto rebuked her for the comment, saying it was a "callous remark''. He said: "You can't take down these pictures, if that is the respect you have for history then it is sad. All those men served the country well.
"It is very serious to say something like that. I am surprised, I am appalled.'' Minutes earlier, Ms Gordon had slated the PLP for their constant speculation of when an election might be called, and for their promises of what they would do to put put things right in the country.
