Saturday when a welder was hit by a falling piece of metal.
The injured man -- believed to be a non-Bermudian and an employee of Pembroke Steel Erectors -- was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
Police say the man was welding something above his head late on Saturday morning when the metal -- of unknown size or weight -- may have fallen on him.
The man's medical condition was not known at press time last night, although a source familiar with the incident said the man did not have serious injuries.
Government's Health and Safety office is investigating.
