The 86-year-old woman, who suffered head, leg and chest injuries in the crash at South Road, Devonshire on Monday, remained in a critical condition late last night.

The Hamilton Parish woman, was driving a Suzuki car which was involved in a collision with a Daihatsu, driven by a 63-year-old Paget female motorist.

The other driver suffered minor injuries. Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident, anyone with information is asked to call P.c Jason Ming on 295 0011.
