Alleged murderer awaits decision

will not learn until next month whether he is to be tried as a juvenile or adult for the alleged murder of an American man.

The US judge hearing the case adjourned it to mid-February asking the defence and prosecution to give their final summations in writing.

Holder, 16, faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted as an adult of murder two in the August 19 beating to death of Mr. Michael Keesser, 20, at a party.

Holder was charged with the crime along with another 16-year-old and two 20-year-olds on August 20 with second-degree murder and second-degree conspiracy.
