Arrested for sex offence
alleged sexual assault of a 15-year-old Pembroke woman.
The incident allegedly took place on Sunday at a residence on Sears Hill Road in Smith's.
The suspect was arrested shortly before 7 a.m. yesterday and was taken to the St. George's Police Station for questioning.

Officers attended the Emergency Department of the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital and spoke with the mother of a 15-year-old Sandys man.
They heard that the boy and some of his friends were allegedly attacked by another group of teenaged boys wielding pieces of wood around about 8.30 a.m.
on Monday.
The victim sustained bruising to his body as well as to the left side of his face.
BAG STOLEN FROM BEACH CRM Bag stolen from beach Visitors to the Island allegedly lost their bag to a thief when they went for a swim on Monday afternoon.
The complainant said he and his wife left their green bag on the sand at Horseshoe Beach in Southampton around about 5.15 p.m. and went for a swim.
They returned soon after and found their bag, which contained cash, credit cards, clothing and passports, was missing.
EIGHT PEOPLE ARE BAILED CRM Eight people are bailed A total of eight people who were arrested following Police raids last Thursday have been bailed.
The arrests came as Police carried out a series of night raids in Pembroke and Devonshire involving some 22 officers.
Under the direction of Inspector Stuart Crockwell, head of Central CID dozens of people were searched and a quantity of drugs were seized.
The men are expected to appear in court over the next few weeks while investigations continue.
REPORT OF `BASEBALL' FIGHT CRM Report of `baseball' fight Police attended a report of a fight on Middle Road in Warwick on Monday night where youths armed with baseball bats and machetes were said to be fighting.
Eight Police units arrived on the scene at 8 p.m. but had left it by 8.06 p.m.
A spokesman said yesterday that no arrests were made.
VISITORS REPORT BREAK-IN CRM Visitors report break-in Police went to a Paget guest house early Sunday morning after visitors reported that their room was broken into and some of their possessions were stolen.
Police attended the Salt Kettle Road property where the visitors said they left their room around 8.30 a.m. and returned at 9.15 a.m. to find someone had entered the room through an insecure door and removed a wallet containing cash and various bank cards plus a cosmetic bag and an umbrella.
