Bermuda gets travel boost
recent travel piece carried in the New York Times.
Sarah Ferrell, associate editor of the Sophisticated Traveler, wrote the story entitled "Bermuda a First Scent of Spring,'' about her mid-February jaunt through the island.
Intent to see whether she could survive Bermuda's reputed expense on just $500, Mrs. Ferrell booked into the Rosemont Guest Apartments and proceeded on an excursion that took her through Dockyard, St. George's, the Bermuda Aquarium and Zoo and the Perfume factory.
Bermuda received front page coverage in the article itself with a photo that looks out from Albouy Point.
The story itself complete with pictures, takes up an entire page.
