Jeordal Smith, 20, suffered massive head and leg injuries after his cycle was in collision with a Subaru car on North Shore Road on Sunday, December 20.

After ploughing through a wall near Bailey's Bay, Mr. Smith was thrown 20 feet into the air before landing on the rocky foreshore.

But after being in critical condition in the intensive care unit of the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for nearly three weeks, the former St. George's Secondary School pupil has now been moved to a general ward where his condition last night was described as comfortable.

Police are still investigating the cause of the accident and wish to speak to any witnesses. Anyone with any information should contact Police on 295-0011.
