The Bermuda Industrial Union's hotels division met yesterday afternoon -- and the dispute was on the agenda.
But Mr. Simmons said nothing concrete had been decided.
"The members are still at a planning stage. That's all I can really say.'' BIU president Mr. Simmons added there was a "feeling of solidarity'' on the issue.
The meeting follows the Government board ruling which said hotel workers should not receive increased tips for 1992.
The report of the Essential Industries Disputes Settlement Board -- chaired by American arbitrator Mr. Arnold Zack -- was delivered late last month.
