gratuities that they believe they are owed are to be returned to union headquarters today.

Union head Mr. Ottiwell Simmons said the petitions would be presented to the Hotel Employers of Bermuda.

"If they don't pay it with the urgency of this petition, then of course we will be taking other necessary steps,'' Mr. Simmons said.

The dispute relates to tip increases in a 1991-94 contract settlement. Mr.

Simmons has said workers are owed tens of thousands of dollars.
