The six-year-old boy was reported to be in critical but stable condition in the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital's Intensive Care Unit by a hospital spokeswoman.
A Police spokeswoman said the boy was riding his pedal cycle near Astwood Close on Woodlands Road in Pembroke at around 4.50 p.m. yesterday when he was in a collision with a black scooter.
The boy suffered head injuries and was rushed to the hospital. The motorcycle rider is also believed to have suffered head injuries but further details were not available late last night.
The Police are appealing for witnesses and would like anyone who saw the accident to contact Sgt. Ronald Greenidge at 295-1001.
