Crown counsel Leighton Rochester recommended that a $30,000 bail be imposed with two sureties. He also asked that certain conditions be attached to the bail including informing Police of change of address or employment, reporting to Hamilton Police Station twice a week, and the surrender of all travel documentation.
Anderson's lawyer Patricia Harvey-Burch objected to the twice weekly reporting to Police, saying that it was punitive and asked for a lower bail with only one surety.
Senior Magistrate Will Francis granted Anderson $20,000 bail with one surety.
Anderson must also report once a week on Wednesday between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.
to the Hamilton Police Station and surrender all his travel documents.
He is due to return in plea court for mention on December 20 at 10 a.m.

Craig Curtis, of Poinciana Drive, Devonshire, crashed his white Nissan into the wall of St. Johns's Church at St. John's Road, Pembroke, in the early hours of October 21.
When Police arrived Curtis said he had not been drinking, but then admitted he had after Police smelled booze on his breathe and arrested him.
Curtis pleaded guilty to driving while impaired before Senior Magistrate Will Francis. But he then asked to be spared from losing his driving licence so he could continue to work as a crane operator for Island Construction Company.
And he said he was often asked by police to use his crane to lift cars which had come off the road.
Mr. Francis pointed out that he had to uphold the law. To which Curtis responded: "I was just on my way home. I told the Police the road was wet, but they didn't want to hear me. It's a dangerous corner, Sir.'' Mr. Francis replied: "You still were breaking the law. Why didn't you take a bus or a taxi or get somebody else to drive?'' Curtis was banned from driving all motor vehicles for 12 months and was fined $450.

Jevon Easton, 21, of Foothills Road, plead guilty in Magistrates' Court this week to ten charges of stealing, forging and uttering cheques at various MarketPlace locations.
But he pleaded not guilty to six other charges.
Senior Magistrate Will Francis extended Easton's bail until his trial on December 3. A social inquiry report is also scheduled to be completed on that date for the offences which Easton admitted.

"You can't go charging around assaulting people because of something like this. It's not the way to go.
"It's all to do with your boyfriend who is not here and you're the one that's got yourself in trouble.'' Leverock, 18, of Victoria Lane. St. George's, admitted going to Tirsite-Maryam Roger's home in Church Lane, St. George's, and grabbing her neck, causing a scratch.
Crown counsel Leighton Rochester dropped a charge of unlawfully entering the house.
Leverock told the court: "She was messing with my boyfriend and I had already warned her, but she kept coming around and calling the house where we stayed.
"She was provoking me all the time. She would see me and stick out her tongue. I went to the house to talk to her.''
