A female guest at a Paget hotel awoke around 5 a.m. yesterday to find an intruder in her room, Police spokeswoman Sgt. Andrea Browne said. The woman screamed out to her husband and the intruder ran off. Nothing was reported stolen.

The man, who was relaxing in his rear garden at about 10 p.m., saw the culprit climb onto his neighbour's roof and attempt to force open a window.

He shouted out to the culprit, who ran off.

A 32-year-old Sandys Parish man was arrested on July 29 for breaking into a doctor's office in the same parish.
