after he pleaded guilty in Magistrates' Court this week to driving his cab while drunk.
Plainclothes Police, on duty on Frog Lane in Devonshire at around 1 a.m. on April 4, spotted Bell driving erratically, the court heard.
Prosecutor, Sgt. Kenrick James said the 51-year-old Devonshire man was seen veering into the opposite lane and driving very slowly. When stopped, he could hardly stand, Sgt. James added.
After hearing Bell gave a breathalyser reading of 162 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood, Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis scolded him for being more than twice over the legal limit.
