Gordon's Cabinet reshuffle -- because it will cost the taxpayer money.

Mr. Jeffers said changes in personnel meant that ministry signs and stationary letterheads will have to be recommissioned, replacing old names with the new -- and the expense will be coming out of the public purse.

"Changing Ministers is one thing,'' Mr. Jeffers said. "However, changing Ministry names and responsibilities means additional costs in signs, stationary, other changes and a great deal of reorganisation.

"The NLP is certain that there is confusion and disorganisation in the affected ministries as the civil servants work with the transition of new Ministers and the changes in responsibilities.

"The UBP is determined to hold onto power and will spare no expense in using the public purse to try to achieve their goal. Even if they think that they will remain in power after the next election, now is not the time for wholesale changes as it is unlikely that the Cabinet would remain the same.'' APPEAL TO VOTERS VOT Appeal to voters Voters have been urged to get their registration forms in by the end of the month.

Around 2,000 people have still failed to get their names on the list, and with a General Election due to be called this year, would-be voters need to act fast.

Acting Parliamentary Registrar Lionel Dowling said the worst constituencies were Devonshire North and Pembroke East, with Pembroke East Central and Warwick West also lagging behind.

Late-comers are asked to hand their forms in at the Parliamentary Registration Office in the Government Administration office, Parliament Street, to avoid any possibility of mail delay.
