Car flips in city
of order this week -- was the scene of a collision between two cars during rush hour yesterday morning.
The traffic lights have since been fixed by Corporation of Hamilton workers.
No one was seriously injured in the accident despite one of the cars flipping over.
The driver of the car that overturned, a 38-year-old Southampton woman who was travelling north on Court Street with her two children, was taken to hospital with a suspected broken arm. The children, aged seven and nine, were slightly injured.
The driver of the other car, a 76-year-old Warwick man, had been travelling east on Church Street when he collided with the Southampton woman. He was not injured.
The woman's Subaru was extensively damaged, but the other car, a brown Ford Laser, received only minor damage.
Corporation secretary Mr. Roger Sherratt said the lights had not been working since Monday because of a faulty cable.
