The 240-page publication contains names, addresses, telephone and fax numbers, and financial information on over 1,000 offshore funds.

It was compiled and published in the Cayman Islands.

The book's author, Mr. Fred Nerlinger, said: "Mutual funds are a fast-growing segment of the offshore financial industry.

"Many offshore funds are promoted by Bermuda financial institutions and many of the funds promoted elsewhere are actually incorporated in Bermuda.'' He added: "There are a few mutual fund guides which cover the onshore industry in the US and the UK but we are not aware of any that attempts to cover the entire offshore fund industry, as ours does.

"By helping investors compare the various funds and then to contact them more easily, this book will provide a much-needed service.'' The book, which retails for $75, is available in Hamilton from The Book Rack, in Burnaby Street, and Washington Mall Magazines, in the Washington Mall, Reid Street.
