to children whose parent is incarcerated during the Christmas holiday.
The Angel Tree programme, sponsored by Prison Fellowship Bermuda, is to provide Christmas gifts for the children of inmates who might otherwise be left out during the holiday season.
A spokesperson from Prison Fellowship Bermuda said many inmates feel helpless during the holidays when they have neither the resources nor the mobility to provide greetings or gifts.
Inmates who wish their children to be included in the programme fill out forms and volunteers help gather information about the children's age, clothing size and Christmas wish.
Those interested in lending a helping hand should contact Earlene Blyden on 293-2922.
