A Police spokesman said yesterday that the accident took place at around 6.30 p.m. near the Shelly Bay Beach House in Hamilton Parish. Both vehicles were heading east at the time of the accident. The cause of the accident was not known.

The cars (see photo below) were extensively damaged but only one person, a 37-year-old Hamilton Parish man, was hurt.
