Commuters had been parking on the grounds in order to catch the ferry, but area residents who use the road want to keep vehicles away from the area and so posted no parking signs.

Works and Engineering Minister Alex Scott said residents had a right to protect their property. Tourism Minister David Allen is to meet with property owners shortly.

Mr. Scott said; "We are hoping the minister can impress on them the dilemma residents have for parking in the area.'' No Parking: Residents and commuters are battling over parking rights.
