in the intensive care unit last night in critical but stable condition.
Mrs. Cindy Eder's parents flew to Bermuda yesterday to be at their daughter's side.
The couple, from Woodside in California, were in collision on Tuesday afternoon with a taxi and a truck.
They had been riding their livery cycle east along South Shore Road in Smith's Parish at about 3.45 p.m. when the accident happened on a bend near Watch Hill Park.
Mr. Eder was killed and his wife suffered wrist and serious shoulder injuries.
They had been heading back to the Pink Beach Cottage Colony.
The manager of Devil's Hole Cycle Livery, Mr. Eric Trott, said the Eders told him they had ridden before when they rented the cycle on the same day as the accident.
He said they had been given all the proper instructions.
A Police spokesman said the cause of the accident was still under investigation.
