Thomas of Two Way Lane was seen by Police sitting on a wall on Union Street.

"They noticed that Thomas looked suspicious. After approaching him for a search, they told him to keep his hands out of his pockets,'' said Insp.

Officers retrieved the broken pipe in which remnants of cocaine in free base form were later found, said Insp. Duffy.

On Thursday, April 23, Thomas was seen by Police on Middle Town Road in Pembroke. Officers stopped him because they noticed that he was acting "very nervously.'' When questioned, he told officers that he had borrowed the scissors from a friend.

Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis fined Thomas a total of $400 for obstruction, $200 for possessing drug equipment, $100 for possessing steel wool and $100 for possessing the scissors.
