Narcotics officers searched Duane Cannonier's Hillview Lane residence around 10.30 p.m. on June 11.

They seized a twist of brown paper, several partly-smoked cigarettes, a knife and a chopping board, prosecutor Sgt. Kenrick James said.

Cannonier admitted the cannabis belonged to him.
