Police noticed Samantha Wild, 26, smelled of drink after she was involved in the accident at the junction of Front Street and Par-la-Ville Road shortly before midnight on February 9 this year.

A breath test showed she had 206 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. The legal limit is 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.

Wild, of Windwood Drive, Pembroke, admitted to Police she had been drinking, but made no comment as she was sentenced by Magistrate Archibald Warner yesterday to a one year driving ban and a $1,000 fine.
