Michael G. Atterbury, 27, of Seagull Lane, Pembroke, appeared in Magistrates' Court yesterday.

He pleaded guilty to driving while impaired and was fined $400 by Senior Magistrate Will Francis, who also banned Atterbury from driving all vehicles for 12 months. Police prosecutor Sgt. Anthony Mouchette told the court that on August 25 this year Police saw a motorcycle being driven in an erratic manner.

For a short time it also travelled the wrong way along a road and Police stopped Atterbury, said Sgt. Mouchette.

Atterbury was given a breath test and the reading showed 231 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.
