Drunk driver `swerved from left to right'

Crown Counsel Cindy Clarke said Brown had been riding a green Peugeot scooter and swerving from left to right. According to the officer on duty his eyes appeared glazed and he smelled of alcohol.
When asked if he had been drinking, Brown told the officer: "I had a few beers.'' Tests showed he had a blood alcohol level of 226 milligrams per 100 millilitres of blood. The legal limit is 80 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood.
