admitting possession of 0.15 grammes of cannabis and ignoring a stop sign on May 2.
Police saw Dion Ingham, 22, ignore the sign on Spice Hill Road in Warwick, said Insp. Peter Duffy, prosecuting.
When they stopped him, the officers noted Ingham was nervous, so they searched him.
A plastic bag containing plant material was found in Ingham's front right pocket.
When asked what it was, he replied it was marijuana, said Insp. Duffy.
He said Ingham told Police: "I'm sorry for what I've done. It won't happen again.'' Acting Senior Magistrate the Wor. John Judge fined Ingham $100 for possession of the drug, and $75 for ignoring the stop sign.
