They rushed to Palmetto Road, in Pembroke Parish, after reports that a house was on fire. When they arrived they found the fire was in brush next to the house. The blaze was extinguished without the house sustaining any damage.

A larger area caught fire on Rural Hill in Paget after a resident was burning trash but lost control. The fire spread to some cedar logs. Five fire fighters attended and extinguished the blaze.

A smaller fire started at Sunnyside Park which the brigade also put out.
