The Pembroke man's left foot got pinned between the truck and a wall as he was manoeuvring the vehicle, Police say.

Police and Health and Safety officers are investigating the incident, which occurred at about 7 p.m.

"The man has been detained in hospital for observation,'' a Police spokesman said.
