Police recaptured Carlton Eugene Minors around 1.10 p.m. yesterday after he escaped from a Hamilton Police Station early Monday.

Minors was due to appear at Magistrates' Court on charges of stealing jewellry and cash.

Yesterday, a Police spokesperson said that Minors was apprehended at his home.

Minors is expected to face a charge of escaping lawful custody, in addition to the outstanding charges.
