Sandys man by a gang of youths.

Police said the incident took place on June 2 around 11 p.m. in Warwick.

The victim was riding his cycle east on Smith's Avenue in Warwick when he was confronted by a group of ten youths travelling in the opposite direction on motorcycles and in cars.

A youth struck him in his face with a metal baseball bat. The man fell from his cycle and was then physically assaulted allegedly with bats and machetes.

He suffered cuts and bruises.
