There were no injuries to the driver but three of the van's windows were smashed in the attack.

The suspect made off with several articles of clothing, a cellular phone and cash.

Police have arrested a 23-year-old Pembroke man in connection with the break-in at the Old Slip Lane, Pembroke home on Saturday. The suspect has been detained for questioning.

Another cellular phone was stolen when thieves robbed a Warwick home on Friday and also took some coins in a container.

THIEF SNATCHES WALLET CRM Thief snatches wallet On the beach, a wallet was stolen from a livery bike parked at Horseshoe Bay Beach overnight on Saturday after thieves forced open the under seat compartment.

In the city of Hamilton, a handbag owner was able to find their stolen property after looking around Par-La-Ville Road where the theft occurred.

The theft is thought to have happened when the owner left their car unlocked from 6 p.m. to 11.15 p.m. Sunday evening.

The bag was found after a brief search, minus an amount of loose change.
