The Minister of Finance announced a four cents per litre increase, pushing the price from $1.22.9 to $1.26.9 -- slightly higher than the last high in March.
March's price was $1.26.1 cents a litre, before it fell by 3.2 cents in April.
In addition, diesel prices have risen by 1.1 cents to 97.4 cents a litre, and kerosene has gone up by 0.7 cents a litre to 76.9 cents. Those will be the maximum prices allowed at the pumps.
