decriminalise homosexual sex.

It has dominated the letters page of The Royal Gazette for months but until now, few homosexuals or lesbians have spoken publicly about what it means to be gay in Bermuda.

In this month's RG Magazine, published with today's Royal Gazette , Bermuda's gays talk for the first time about their life of secrecy.

"In Bermuda,'' says one Bermudian gay now living in London, "if you're gay and people know it, they choke you.''
