A Police spokesman confirmed that eggs were thrown at a passing bus on Crawl Hill in Hamilton Parish around 3.30 p.m.

He added that two incidents occurred around 9.30 p.m., with stones being thrown at passing vehicles on South and Middle Roads in Southampton, on either side of Lighthouse Hill.

The spokesman said no injuries had resulted and no arrests had been made.
