Kenneth Eugene Phillips, 54, of Old Road, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle while impaired by alcohol on Mullet Bay Road, St. George's.
Police officers who stopped him, in the early hours of the morning of September 1, smelled liquor on his breath. He was arrested and tested positive for alcohol.
In November 1990 Phillips was fined and disqualified from driving for a year for speeding.
Phillips protested when Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis gave him a heavy fine and the three-year ban yesterday.
