The building which houses International Fine Arts College was designed by Mr.
F. H. Foster and constructed in the late 1920's, drawing inspiration from Spanish Renaissancs architecture.
Mr. Foster's enchanting creation includes remarkable features such as hand-painted Spanish tiles, a marble ballroom, and delicate Spanish chandeliers hanging from grand, eighteen foot ceilings. In many ways, the building itself is a continuing source of creative inspiration.
Throughout its distinguished history, this venerable structure has served the needs of Miami's artistic community, being an important venue for art exhibits, music recitals, and fashion shows.
This magnificent bay-front property has been home to Miami's first public library and the museum of science, as well as the site of several American presidents' addresses to prestigious audiences.
Located next door to the main College building is the complex known as The Grand, a mammoth, forty-two floor edifice containing apartments, shops, and the Doubletree Hotel. The Grand houses the College's state-of-the- art Computer Arts Center, Admissions Office, and the Daniel M. Stack Memorial Library.
Students love to share their thoughts and ideas with new friends from all over the world. The warm climate and agreeable bay-front scenery make living in Miami a truly special experience.
Student clubs and organizations also provide opportunities to interact with the international community on campus.
