The Liquor Licensing panel met briefly to consider Alfred Eve's plans to operate the restaurant yesterday.

But it stopped short of approving the application because a sanitary certificate had not been included among the paperwork.

Consequently, the board ruled the application suspended until Mr. Eve has the certificate.
