Police said yesterday.

The warning followed an incident on Monday morning when a woman left her residence near Secretary Road in St. George's just for a short while, and failed to lock the door.

When she came back 20 minutes later, someone had entered the apartment and stolen five dollars in cash, a gold watch, and other personal items.

The total value was estimated at about $2,000.
