Magazine focuses on world travel congress
important travel industry gatherings of 1992.
The trade and travel magazine, Bermuda Dateline, is hoping to raise the profile of the Island at the World Travel Congress of the American Society of Travel Agents in Cairo.
Dateline Publications is producing a special issue that will be shipped to Egypt.
Editor and publisher, Mr. David Allen said: "The autumn issue will include cover treatment and features relating to the World Congress.
"This includes a section detailing the activities of the Bermuda Department of Tourism delegation at the Cairo congress, as well as the other participants, who include Bermuda travel agents and destination management executives.'' Dateline will also be covering seminars and panel discussions for a future issue of the magazine.
The ASTA World Congress involves nearly 5,000 travel agents and other key industry personnel. It attracts all the major airlines, hotel groups and cruise lines.
The issue of Dateline also includes a feature on the potential for developing "ecological tourism'' in Bermuda.
