Magistrate fails to see sunny side!
courtroom after he initially refused to remove his sunglasses and showed her "disrespect''.
Mrs. Mapp asked Samuel Wilson, 42, of Middle Road, Southampton, to remove his dark sunglasses when he appeared for mention in the daily plea court session.
But he only did so after scowling and mumbling: "I'm not here for all that''.
Mrs. Mapp ordered Wilson to leave the courtroom and she told duty counsel Elizabeth Christopher -- who escorted him out -- to tell Wilson to watch his vocabulary in her courtroom.
When Mrs. Mapp later permitted Wilson to return, she told him: "Let me just clarify something for you. This is a courtroom. We don't have any sun in here so we do not wear sunglasses.'' Wilson, who faces eight charges of supplying drugs, five involving cannabis, two crack cocaine, and cocaine, will return to court for mention again on August 18.
