accused, in Magistrates' Court, of breaking into a Hamilton building.

Stephen Pitt, of Alexandria Road, denied breaking into the Portuguese Cultural Association's offices on Laffan Street in Pembroke during the weekend and stealing paint, beer, wine, bottles of water, and other goods.

Pitt also denied receiving the stolen goods as well as stealing liquor from the White Sands Guest House in Paget on April 12.

Senior Magistrate Will Francis remanded him in custody and set his trial for July 28.

Pitt will be tried on the White Sands theft on August 25.
