Rodney MacDonald Wilson, of South Shore Road, Paget originally denied the offence which occurred in Paget around 2.30 a.m. on August 30, 1991.

The trial was scheduled to begin yesterday, minutes after Chief Justice the Hon. Mr. Justice Ward was sworn in.

But in a surprise move, Wilson, who is represented by Mr. Phillip Perinchief, changed his plea. He will be sentenced on November 8.
