FINE FOR DRIVING WITHOUT DUE CARE CTS Fined for driving without due care A 20-year-old Pembroke man was yesterday fined $150 for driving without due care.
Bradley Tatem, of Stadium Hill, pleaded guilty to the charge in Magistrates' Court.
Police prosecutor Sgt. John Dale said Police saw Tatem run a stop sign at the Rosemont Avenue and Serpentine Road junction on August 31, 1994 at 4:45 p.m.
Sgt. Dale said Tatem then overtook a tractor on Serpentine Road causing a car travelling in the opposite direction to brake and swerve in order to avoid a collision with Tatem.
Tatem told the court he did not see the car coming in the other direction when he overtook the tractor, which he claims was a forklift. He said the driver was driving erratically and he wanted to get from behind him.
