Eugene Victor Broadley, 47, of Coot Pond had originally pleaded not guilty to being an accessory to the murder of 57-year-old Vincello (Johnny Peppers) Richardson who was found floating in St. George's Harbour on December 17, 1993.

But he changed his plea before Puisne Judge Richard Ground in Supreme Court yesterday and will be remanded in custody until October 31 when a social inquiry report should be ready.
Anthony Edward Flood, 27, was found guilty in November of 1994 of murdering the one-time curator of Fort St. Catherine and was sentenced to life imprisonment.
