robbery of a security officer outside the St. George's Telco branch last Friday afternoon.

It was alleged that Fubler robbed Warren Foggo of a bank deposit bag containing $4,471 in cash and cheques while armed with a "firearm''.

The St. George's resident, who was unrepresented, was not required to plead to the charge as it must be tried in Supreme Court.

The Crown opposed bail.

Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis remanded Fubler in custody until June 23 when he will appear for mention in plea court.

Fubler's mother later stood up in court and said she needed to speak to Mr.

Francis.

But the magistrate told her she should speak to the prosecution or duty counsel.

"There is no way I'm going to discuss this case with you,'' he said.
