one of sexual assault, appeared in Magistrates' Court yesterday.

The alleged offences took place on Boxing Day in St. George's.

The man is charged with sexually assaulting a woman, entering her home without lawful excuse, depriving her of her liberty, unlawfully assaulting her, possessing a penknife and behaving in a threatening manner.

Since the charges are indictable, the man was not required to enter a plea as the matter will eventually be heard in the Supreme Court.

Acting Magistrate the Wor. Edward King set bail at $2,000 with one surety and ordered the man to have no contact with the complainant or to trespass on her property. He adjourned the case until January 11.
